Michele Wilkes-Hawkins, PHR, SHRM-CP

Michele Wilkes-Hawkins is a senior level Human Resources Executive with over 30 years of progressive human resources experience. She has proven work experience in Recruitment, Training and Development, Benefits Administration, Employee Relations, Compensation, Records Management, Employment Practices, Performance Management and Safety and Strategic Planning.

Michele served as President and VP of Human Resources for over 22 years at KMQ Enterprises Inc. dba Tailwind Associates, an IT Consulting and placement firm providing comprehensive technology solutions and services to industry and government based in Albany, New York. She began her career in the HR field in 1989 and has worked in the Technology, Retail, Services and Hospitality Management industries.

Michele holds a BS degree in Business Management from Marymount College. She is certified through the HR Certification Institute as Professional in Human Resources and is certified as a SHRM certified professional.

Michele served on the Capital Region Human Resource Association (CRHRA) Board of Directors as a volunteer on the website committee, Newsletter Chair, Secretary, Vice President and President. She has been a member of CRHRA since 1992. She has served on the NYS SHRM State Council for over 9 years and has held the position of NYS SHRM Central NY District Director and is currently serving as the NYS SHRM State Council Certification Director. Michele is also a member of the Capital Region Recruiter’s Network (CRRN) and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).

As an HR Consultant for HROM, Michele’s focus will be serving the Central NY Region.
